Gold Tower Award For Creative Excellence
H&B client GSA received a Gold Tower Award from the Business Marketing Association of Chicago April 13 as the top award in competition category Special Event Promotions. This award is the 66th creative award earned by H&B since its founding in 1984 and the 19th consecutive year the work of H&B has earned awards.

H&B welcomes new internet client, Independent Graphic Services of West Chicago, IL. For IGS we will be developing and hosting a Remote Content Management website featuring pages easily editable by designated IGS Staff, a remotely editable database of products and services, and an Industry Forum where web visitors can exchange technology questions and answers. IGS provides sales, parts, service, preventative maintenance, press relocation and installation for quality printing presses including MAN Roland, Miehle, Planeta, KBA, Heidelberg, Komori , Mitsubishi and more. Federal Technology Service Contract Awarded to H&B for IT Services
The General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded a five year Information Technology Schedule Contract to Hamilton & Bond for Electronic Commerce Services including web hosting, e-mail services, e-mail marketing and e-commerce. H&B already holds a GSA FSS five year contract for Web Design consultation and services.

The contract makes Hamilton & Bond a pre-approved vendor for agencies of the Federal Government including the Defense Department all branches of the Armed Forces, the National Park and Wildlife Service and more. Several State, University and Research organizations are included in the contract as well.

The Great Lakes Region Federal Technology Service has awarded to Hamilton & Bond a 120 day contract for communications, internet and event management services in support of their “On The Horizon” Technology and Customer Appreciation Conference to be held at the Fairmont Hotel June 28-30. Federal Technology Service customers include all departments of the Federal Government and all branches of the U. S. military. Apple’s Mac OS X has been declared one of the world’s safest operating systems by London-based security experts, mi2g.

The security firm’s Intelligence Unit has run a comparative study of the variety of operating systems available today. It states: “The world’s safest and most secure online server Operating System (OS) is proving to be the Open Source family of BSD (Berkley Software Distribution) and Mac OS X based on Darwin.”
