Section 508 Requirements
In 1998, Congress amended the Rehabilitation Act to require Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. The law applies to all Federal agencies when they develop, procure, maintain, or use electronic and information technology. Hamilton & Bond has written a white paper that helps explain the intent of website accessibility.
Hamilton & Bond is a registered Buy Accessible Service Provider to the Federal Government. Our registration with the government includes a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template which allows government employees to compare and review our support of Section 508 mandates.
The Bobby 508 Logo featured below indicates a claim of conformance to Section 508 Requirements which is subject to third party verification. We display this logo only on pages which have successfully passed Section 508 compliance testing.
